This tour is not merely about tasting food; it is an opportunity to connect with people, local shopkeepers, and their stories. At every stop, a flavour awaits; in every bite, a memory is preserved.

What the Tour Includes?

The tour begins in Kadıköy and its surroundings.

We sample a variety of flavours at more than six different stops.

  • Traditional olive oil-based dishes and home-cooked meals at a renowned local eatery
  • Crispy lahmacun fresh from a stone oven at a traditional lahmacun restaurant
  • Meatballs served in village bread at a hidden street-side grilled meatball restaurant
  • Homemade turnip juice and lemonade at a traditional pickles shop in Kadıköy Market
  • To conclude, a choice of semolina dessert with ice cream or pistachio baklava at a traditional confectionery

Throughout the tasting, we engage in discussions about the stories behind the ingredients, the cultural significance of the dishes, and the preferences of the local community.
